The Southeast Livestock Pavilion has been North Central Florida’s go-to event facility since it was constructed in 1945. The venue hosts several facilities available for rent at various prices including: both covered and non-covered arenas, a covered grandstand with seating capacity of 4,212, stall rentals, a reception hall with a complete kitchen and seating capacity of 299 and picnic pavilions.
The Pavilion, which is jointly owned by Marion County and the Florida Department of Agriculture, is home to over 100 events per year. Such events continuously draw large crowds of enthusiasts and include the Florida Australian Shepherd Show, Master Gardener classes, the Florida Horse Sale, the Ocala Shrine Rodeo and more. For Howard Johnson guests who are interested in the agriculture and livestock, the Southeast Livestock Pavilion is sure to be hosting an event during your stay.
The pavilion is also available to those looking to book rentals for any size event; however, many of the facilities are booked far in advance, so it is important to reserve them early.
